Responsible Use of Electronic Resources


Access to electronic resources, collections and services provided by the University of Kansas Libraries is governed by the campus policy on Acceptable Use of Electronic Information Resources.

  • Per that policy, library users are expected to be responsible network citizens and to refrain from excessive use of resources and from making use of resources in any way prohibited by campus policy (e.g., for the purpose of solicitation).
  • Priority access to electronic resources and services is given to activities that support the University’s teaching, research, and service missions.

Electronic resources available from the Libraries’ website are licensed by the University of Kansas Libraries for non-commercial use by KU faculty, staff, students, and on-site visitors at KU campus locations, for educational or research purposes only.
