Copying and Printing
A Multifunction Device (MFD) is available to make copies or prints in black and white or color. It does not accept cash. KU patrons must use their KU Online ID and have sufficient funds on their KU cards to copy or print. Non-KU patrons can purchase a Visitor Print/Copy Access Pass at the service desk which can be used to copy or print on the MFD. Letter and legal-size black-and white copies cost $.08, color copies are $.48. Ledger-size copies cost double the amount. Value can be added to the KU card online or at the cash-to-card machine located in the Kansas Union near the Card Center. More information about copying can be found on the Scanning, Printing & Copying page. Information about the Visitor Access Program for Printing and Copying can be found at this link: http://www.lib.ku.edu/AccServices/Circulation/visitorprintcopy.shtml

A Quick Print workstation is available to allow users to print quickly from a USB drive, email attachment or web storage (such as Hawk Drive) without logging in to the computer. KU patrons must provide a KU Online ID and password when prompted, and their KU card must have sufficient funds to print. Non-KU patrons can purchase a Visitor Print/Copy Access Pass at the service desk. Usage of the Quick Print station is limited to a maximum of five minutes per session during peak times.
A Minolta MS-6000 reader-printer is available for viewing and making copies from microfilm and microfiche. Printing is free. The reader-printer is located in a small room across from the women's restroom.
