Instant Messaging (IM) @ KU Libraries
Get library help online! IM a Librarian is a new instant messaging service available at http://www.lib.ku.edu/askalibrarian/. You can use IM to get in touch with library staff over the Web. We can help you:
- find information on your topic or assignment;
- suggest the best databases for your research; and
- answer virtually any question about KU Libraries' services and resources.
If you have an account through Yahoo! Messenger, MSN Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger or GoogleTalk installed on your computer, simply add "kulibrarian1" or "kulibrarian2" to your list of contacts or buddies.
When can I IM a librarian?
Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 9:00 pm
Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Saturday & Sunday 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
