Here at KU Libraries, we are fortunate enough to be uniquely positioned at the crossroads of the educational process, bringing together the resources and expertise that KU students and faculty need to succeed.

The Official Sponsor of the Balancing Act

KU Libraries are the academic cheer squad of KU (stunting not included). James Naismith lived by the credo “a sound mind is a sound body.” His attention to the student experience and athletes’ intellectual growth is something that we are proud to carry forward. KU librarians work directly with student-athletes in a summer program designed to hone their research skills and develop lifelong information literacy, a program now expanded to all KU students.
