Description NOTE: This collection of databases has not been updated since 2010. For access to more recently published resources on Africa, the user is strongly advised to search African Studies Abstracts online. Includes an aggregation of nearly 50 databases, pertaining chiefly to Africa continentally, as well as more specialized bibliographic resources on southern Africa. Included are African Index Medicus, the Index of South African Periodicals, and NAMLIT, which is compiled by the National Library of Namibia. With over 3.5 million citations dating back to the 16th century, this resources is essential for African studies research.
