Grievance Committee
Purpose / Responsibilities: The Grievance Committee is an administrative committee and it meets to ensure prompt and fair handling of complaints by library staff. The whole committee will not meet at one time, it will be split into subcommittees. These subcommittees are appointed from the committee by the Library Administration.
Membership: Five Support Staff and five Unclassified, non-student, employees of the Libraries are elected each year, respectively, by the Library Support Staff and by the Library Faculty Assembly. These ten elected individuals comprise a core Committee from which subcommittees are appointed for the hearing of grievances.
Frequency of meetings: In the recent past, this committee has not met either because there were no grievances, or because grievances did not reach this stage.
Current support staff representatives: : Billie Conway, Leila Jacobs, Bob Marvin, Brett Rurode
