Planning and Resources Committee
Purpose/Responsibilities: The Planning and Resources
Committee (PRC), in consultation with library administration, LFPA Executive
Committee, and library staff, examines general priorities in the distribution
of resources, studies planning issues and reviews ongoing planning activities
within the Libraries, and participates in a timely manner in the Libraries'
budget activities.
Membership: The Committee is composed of three members from the Library Faculty and Professionals Assembly (LFPA) and 1 LFPA Exec Liaison, appointed by the LFPA Executive Committee, three KU Libraries Support Staff (KULSS) members and 1 KULSS Exec Liaison appointed by the KULSS Exec, and the Libraries' Assistant to the Dean
members (ex officio). The Committee members serve two-year overlapping terms.
Frequency of meetings: The committee meets as often as necessary.
Current KULSS representative(s): Currently seeking 3 KULSS members to serve for FY12.
