KU Libraries redesigns site for easier searching, navigation
KU Libraries has added several new features and redesigned their Web site, with the goal of creating a more intuitive and user-friendly site. The site will go live Monday, August 18, but the site is available now as a preview at www.lib.ku.edu/beta.
The most visible change to the site is the addition of search tools on the main Libraries page. These tools allow users to search several commonly used databases simultaneously; users can also click a tab to search the KU Libraries catalog or search for E-journals.
Navigation elements have also been redesigned to make many of the research tools researchers use regularly immediately accessible from the homepage.
The Libraries welcome your feedback on the expanded features. Please feel free to share your thoughts via email to kudiglib@ku.edu or through the Comments and Suggestions form at www.lib.ku.edu/comments on the Libraries’ Web site.
These site improvements were made through extensive collaboration between KU Libraries and Information Technology.
