Eleonora Drury, Jayhawk of the Month for December 2010

Wrapping up the fall 2010 semester, November Jayhawk of the Month winner, Robert Szabo, passed on the coveted award to someone he felt encompassed everything that a library is meant to do: aid students.

“Eleonora Drury is a person who personifies the concept of customer service. And by customer service, I mean service to all the people that this person comes in contact with her, on the phone or electronically.” Robert said. “I know few people that go to the extra lengths that this person does to answer a question or solve a problem. “

“The department she works in is one of complicated procedures due to a myriad of variations for customer service solutions, yet she shines through,”Robert said.

“Whenever I mention her name to staff members, whether they be full time staff or student, they always comment on Drury’s amiability and hard-headed pursuit of answers.”

Stay tuned for next semester to see who Eleonora chooses as the next Jayhawk of the Month.
