Jeromy Horkman, Jayhawk of the Month for November 2009

October Jayhawk of the Mont, Al Mauler cited Jeromy Horkman's "eagerness to be of assistance and willingness to attend to even the smallest of details" as qualities that made Jeromy an obvious choice for November's Jayhawk of the Month.

"I was surprised and definitely appreciative of the recognition," Jeromy said. " Recognition and reinforcement are essential in advancing the goals of any organization.  I believe leadership has made great strides in emphasizing good work performance through such means.  There exist so many KU Libraries employees worthy of this recognition and I think it will be exciting to follow this monthly path of recognition throughout the system."Jeromy Horkman manages the Watson circulation desk with honorary Reference Specialist Jay.
