Sharon Riley, Jayhawk of the Month for May 2011

To start off the summer, April Jayhawk of the Month winner, Jim Richey, has chosen Sharon Riley.

"I chose someone very pleasant and helpful, patient and professional. Over the years I've noticed that she is so kind and nice to all of the new student workers in the library and she always makes herself available for every question or concern."

Riley isn't just helpful to student workers though and Richey stated that she is a constant joy to work with for him personally.

"I'm also grateful for the help she has given me. Clarifying paper work requirements, double-checking entries and for the diligence she has shown in tracking down answers to all of my questions. She has been a great help to me, to all the people I work with and I'm thankful that she is a part of the library."

Stay tuned for next month to see who Sharon chooses as the next Jayhawk of the Month.
