What if I do not have complete citation information?

  • If you do not have complete information, that is fine but the more information you can provide about the item the easier it will be for us to find it. If you are unable to supply the minimum citation information asked for, KU Libraries staff at any of the KU Libraries Service Desks can assist you in locating the bibliographic information. Otherwise, fill in the fields you were not able to find information for with either a "?" or "n/a."
  • Additional information may be added to the Note field to help fill your request.

What do I do if I have printing problems?

  • If you are encountering problems viewing or printing your article(s) please make sure you are following these recommendations:
    • If you have a slow internet connection, download your article and then save it to a disk or the hard drive. Because PDFs are large files, it's best to download the file completely to your hard drive, and print or view your articles off-line.
    • Be sure you have the latest edition of Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. If you do not have the latest edition, please go to the Adobe website and download the latest edition (it's free).
    • If none of these recommendations help you or fix your problems, please contact us.

What are IngentaConnect Research Alerts?

What is an OCLC number?

  • An OCLC (Online Computer Library Center) number uniquely identifies records in OCLC WorldCat, a world-wide online catalog available in KU Library Online Databases. If you search and find what you need in WorldCat, note the Accession Number at the bottom of the Detailed Record display as the OCLC number to include in your request that allows Interlibrary Loan staff to verify the exact title you need. WorldCat lists libraries that own the material, but you do not need to provide this information in your request.
