Patrons with Disabilities

The KU Libraries is able to provide a greater level of scanning support for students, faculty, and staff with disabilities. Copyright Law for example, allows us to make copies of complete works in appropriate situations. We work with the KU Disability Resources Center to scan materials from the KU Libraries and materials received from other libraries via interlibrary loan. The KU Disability Resources Center then converts the scanned images to prepare them for screen reading software. Patrons should contact the KU Disability Resources Center to request these materials.

Resource Sharing is committed to providing patrons with disabilities access to materials and services provided to other patrons. If you have special needs please specify in the Notes field when submitting a request for materials that you are needing ADA services.
