To use the web version of SciFinder, you must first register.

To complete your registration you will need to:

  • Enter an e-mail address that ends in "". Other e-mail accounts will not be accepted.
  • Complete the transaction after receiving a confirmation e-mail.

Once registration is complete, you can search the web version of SciFinder at

You will need to log in every time you use SciFinder.

Access off-campus

You can search SciFinder from off campus with your KU Online ID as you would for any other library resource that you access from off campus. Then log in with your personal SciFinder login.
