Research Data Analysis and Statistical Software Support
Our staff provide workshops and consultations to help faculty and grad students learn how to analyze research data. In addition, we work with users to solve problems with statistical software packages such as SPSS and SAS. We can assist you with installing, activating, and using common statistical software packages.

KU Libraries GIS and Data Lab supports data-related (geospatial, numeric, statistical) class projects, teaching and research at KU. The Lab has seven powerful workstations, most with two monitors. Software includes ArcGIS (ArcMap, ArcInfo Workstation), AutoCad, GoogleEarth Pro, Maple, R, SAS, SPSS.
We are located on the 4th floor of Watson Library in room 425, which is the sunroom across from the main staircase. You can drop in and use the Lab whenever we are open (see our Hours). You can also set up a consultation with a staff member, and/or contact us with your GIS and statistical analysis questions.
