Instructions for exporting citations from Sage Knowledge to EndNote
- Conduct your search.
- Sage Knowledge will either download all results to Endnote or will allow you to download them one-at-a-time. There does not appear to be an option to download multiple, selected records in one batch. To download all results, simply click Cite All and skip to step 4, below.
- To download individual citations, hover your mouse in the area under the heading Encyclopedia Entry then click Export citation from the two options that will appear.
- To complete the export, use the drop-down arrow in the Export citation to box to select EndNote, then click Export.

Some browsers may ask you to choose a helper application.
- Check Open with then click Browse.
- This will open a second box (the Choose Helper Application box). Select EndNote.
- Click OK to both boxes when finished.
- You can also check Do this automatically for files like this from now on, to save time in the future.
If citations fail to export, also check for pop-up blockers (which may appear as a banner notice along the top or bottom of your screen). Citation also will not export if you have a reference open in EndNote. (To be sure you do not have a reference open, in EndNote, click on All References.)
