April 11-12, 2014: The Legacies and Unfinished Business of BvB, 2.0

KU Libraries will host an exhibition opening considering the legacy of the case, as well as its future societal and legal implications. Scheduled to speak are KU Professors Shirley Hill and John L. Rury as well as KU Law School Professor Quinton Lucas. They will be presenting "The African American Struggle for Secondary Schooling 1940-1980: Closing the Graduation Gap." Sponsors: KU Libraries, the Dana and Sue Anderson African American Collecting Program Endowment Fund, the KU Langston Hughes Center, the Office of Multicultural Affairs, KU Law School, and the Hall Center for the Humanities.
