Fridays on Fourth
Research, write-ins, and workshops every Friday in Watson Library’s Graduate Student Study Lounge (410) and throughout the fourth floor as part of a collaborative project between KU's Libraries, Writing Center, Office of Graduate Studies, and Center for Teaching Excellence.
Research Help
Experienced librarians provide consultations for research projects that can help to: refine research question and get started; develop search strategies to find relevant and find the best sources of information; track searches; access, organize, and analyze research data; and manage references and citations.
Write-Ins
Write-ins provide a large block of time during which to focus, relax and get some writing done. Whether you are preparing for your comprehensive exams, writing your dissertation or dissertation prospectus, editing a paper for publication, writing a book review or fellowship application, we invite you to join us.
Workshops
Each Friday may include a workshop related to one particular aspect of the research or writing process such as citation management (EndNote and Zotero), electronic thesis and dissertation formatting, literature reviews, publishing, and copyright.
