Watson Collections

The print collections in Watson Library include many of the humanities and social sciences. Among those housed in Watson are: philosophy, religion, history, anthropology, recreation, political science, sociology, social welfare, languages & literature, and military sciences.

New books and recreational reading shelves may be browsed just inside the main entrance to Watson.

The majority of KU’s film DVD collection, as well as books on films and motion pictures, can be found in Watson.

Languages from around the world are represented in KU’s collections, including strong International Area Studies Collections housed in Watson. KU has extensive collections in English, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese, Slavic, and East Asian. Arabic and some African language materials are also available.
