Watson Collections


The print collections in Watson Library include many of the humanities and social sciences. Among those housed in Watson are: philosophy, religion, history, anthropology, recreation, political science, sociology, social welfare, languages & literature, and military sciences.

New books may be browsed just inside the main entrance to Watson.

The majority of KU’s film DVD collection, as well as books on films and motion pictures, can be found in Watson.

Languages from around the world are represented in KU’s collections, including International Collections housed in Watson. KU has extensive collections in French, German, Russian, Spanish and Portuguese, Slavic, and East Asian. Additional strong regional holdings include Slavic, Eurasian, Latin American, and African, with some Arabic language materials available.
