Kevin McCarty

Kevin McCarty is the Assistant Director of Communications for the University of Kansas Libraries, where he helps tell the story of the people, services, resources and programming available to students and staff, specializing in digital storytelling, publication management, social media engagement. Prior to joining KU libraries in 2022, he worked in collegiate athletics for nearly 15 years contributing to creative services and digital communications efforts. He holds a master’s degree from Illinois State University and a bachelor’s in mass communications from Kansas State University.
