Acceptable Use Policy

Use by members of the University of Kansas community of images licensed from Saskia, Inc. is specified in the contract that the KU Libraries have signed with Saskia. That contract includes several specific guidelines for the use of the images that you, as a member of the KU community, must follow:

• Faculty, staff, and currently-enrolled students of the University of Kansas may display and print Saskia images without limitation for teaching and research purposes. Images are not to be shared with, or make available in any way (for example, though another web page), to anyone who is not a current KU faculty, staff, or student.
• Saskia images may not be used for preparation of any publication, scholarly or otherwise, or for any purpose other than teaching or research. Publication of an image requires a separate license from Saskia.
• You may not modify, corrupt or alter any digital image graphic content or "digital watermark" or the link in the images. Also, you may not remove, alter, cover, or destroy Saskia's copyright notice, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices placed by Saskia in any images.
