Online Resources and Services Available on Days Closed

Quick Search access to library resources.
Databases, Ejournals, and eBooks for eligible users.
WebRetrieve and Retrieve from Shelf (requests received during days closed will be processed beginning Mon., Jan. 5).
My Account (users will be able to renew eligible items and place or review requests).
ILL items borrowed from another library cannot be renewed online (patrons should send email to illborr@ku.edu or leave a message at 1+785-864-3960 to request renewals for ILL items).
Ecommerce will be available to make online payments for fines, fees, and lost book charges due at the library (payments will be recorded in the library system beginning Mon., Jan. 5).
Request Processes
Requests placed by 8 a.m. on Tues., Dec. 23 through Retrieve from Shelf will be filled for available items at Watson and Anschutz Libraries by closing time on Wed., Dec. 24.
Items will be available for checkout from Anschutz and Watson Libraries until 5 p.m., Wed., Dec. 24.
Items will be available for checkout in the Art & Architecture and Music & Dance Libraries until 5 p.m., Fri., Dec. 19.
Circulating items routed to Spencer Research Library will be available for checkout until 4:30 p.m. on Fri., Dec. 19.
Items retrieved for use in Spencer Research Library’s Reading Room will be available until 4 p.m. on Fri., Dec. 19.
Requests not filled by Wed., Dec. 24 or placed on days closed will be processed beginning Mon., Jan. 5.
Outdoor Book Returns
Items will be retrieved from outdoor book returns several times during days closed. Items will be checked in beginning Jan. 5 with users credited for the return on Dec. 19.
