Spanish, Portuguese, Latin American & Caribbean Collections

The Spanish, Portuguese, Latin American, and Caribbean Collections at the University of Kansas Libraries include nearly 500,000 titles; its collection on Central America alone is among the top three in the nation with 106,000 titles. It contains particularly strong holdings on Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Cuba, Haiti, and Mexico. The collection has extensive breadth in literature, language, culture, history, political science, economics, geography, and other fields in the social sciences and the humanities.
