European Collections

In the past, the European collections traditionally referred to materials related to Western Europe. This included materials in English, French, German, Italian, and to a lesser degree Scandinavian languages. In recent years, as the European Union has grown more prominent and has expanded its borders toward the east and south, this collection has begun to incorporate materials related to the EU as a whole, as well as materials related to both Eastern, Central, Western, and Southern Europe, as well as Turkey and other countries along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.  As with all international collections at KU, these small collections are not housed in separate locations, but live within the broader collections of KU Libraries in general.
